Start Time ... 7.30 p.m April 3, 2000 MEETING
Wind generators and solar power have been developed to a point that they now are very practical for use in homes, mobile sites, and remote locations. Our special guest will be Weazel McCreath VE3EAR of Goderich Ontario. Weazle runs a business in Goderich that specializes in this energy He had a passing interest in solar and wind power for years but it wasn't until a friend, and ultimately business partner, Al Ball purchased some R.E. equipment that Weazel really got into it.
His
business was formed in the spring of 1998 and has since grown from just an idea on paper into the real thing. There are four
partners i His presentation will be on the many aspects of alternative power. I'm sure that some people would like to know what is involved in powering a shack from renewable energy sources, while others may want details of installing solar panels and windmills. Their web site is www.solwind.on.ca for anyone that would like to take a look at some pictures of their products and what the guys do. This is sure to be a great informative meeting and Weazel is looking forward to meeting the members of our club. Tnx de Ben VA3BNY
