Rare Stamps?
by Paul VE3SY

Your On-Line Kilowatter Editor exchanges QSL cards with stations around the world and as a result I end up with some interesting stamps from countries that I never heard of before getting into working DX.

An Italian QSL manager recently sent me a card with this stamp of interest.

I wonder if the Canadian Post Office will ever consider issuing a similar stamp commemorating some Canadian artistic sculpture?

Somehow I doubt it.  hi hi

Speaking of Stamps... the newsletter from our neighbours in Cambridge at the South Waterloo ARC was adorned with the following myriad of stamps from yesteryear.  And yes.... the postage does add up to 46 cents.

An area DX Hound recently started using similar stamps for his QSLing. Following years of collecting sheets of new Canadian issues, the DXer had his collection of "rare" Canadian first issue stamps appraised by several Toronto area collectors only to discover the highest price he was offered was face value.

I think I will just collect cancelled stamps.
