DECEMBER MEETING
Our December meeting will be a very entertaining and informative evening.   Your illustrious and hardworking program director has booked "The Golden Kilowatt" Gerry King VE3GK of Ottawa.  Gerry will give a humorous look at our hobby and invites everyone to bring your spouse.  

Gerry is a builder, just about everything at his shack, he designed, and built from scratch, including radio's, amplifiers, matching stubs, and antennas. Gerry will be doing a visual presentation to all our members at our December 4th meeting for the first hour of our program. Due to this extraordinary, guest, there will be no swap night on this date, but following Gerry presentation, we will break for our traditional coffee and Christmas munchies and social period.  Gerry also plays a mean Jazz piano and indicated he is looking to tickle the ivory.

The normal business portion of the meeting will be deferred until our Jan 8 2000 meeting to allow sufficient time to enjoy all of Gerry fabulous presentation. 

We would also like our members to invite to our December meeting, their spouses/partners to join us hams for this presentation and to stay for our social hour following this interesting presentation. So fellow hams start asking your partners/spouses if they would like to be our guests and come and join the fun that we have at meeting. 

Don't forget to bring some traditional munchies and goodies for the potluck food table. As in the past, we will be providing free coffee for this event. Hope to see a great turnout of members and partners/spouses for this fabulous presentation.

CHRISTMAS LUNCHEON
We are currently selling tickets for the KWARC annual Christmas Luncheon  which has been scheduled for December 15 2000, at the Transylvania Club starting at 12.00 noon till.    Those that are planning to attend can pre purchase there tickets from Tedd Doda, VE3TJD, or myself Ben, VA3BNY during the meeting night. We need advance sales of tickets to book reservations for seating. 

Please don't wait until Dec 15  to purchase at the door, we would not like to see anyone turned away for lack of seating space.

Don't forget the mistletoe!
