VE3CJ Memorial Station to be Dedicated Feb.21, 98

When Noel Eaton recently passed away he left his station to the Burlington Amateur Radio who have since been successful in obtaining Noel’s call VE3CJ.

The Club will be holding a Fleamarket on Saturday February 21st followed in the evening by a Banquet marking the official opening and dedication the station.

Long time friend of Noel His Majesty King Hussein JY1 of Jordan was invited however due to the current state of affairs in the middle east he will be represented by his His Excellency, the Ambassador to Canada from Jordan, Samir Kalifeh.

The effects of Noel Eaton's work extend far and wide and touched many people including King Hussein (see following article). The "WARC" bands are a good example of his legacy. If you have a story, or anecdote, or greetings that you would like to share please take a little time to write it down and send it to:
