MEETING DATES
KWARC holds regular meetings September to June on the first Monday of each month. On those months where the first Monday is a Statutory Holiday, meeting are convened on the following Monday.

MEETING LOCATION
Meetings commence at 7:30PM in the 404 WING Club at the end of Dutton Drive in Waterloo. Dutton is North off Weber between Albert Street and the Railway overpass. The 404 Wing building provides ground level access for mobility challenged individuals. This year our agenda will commence with a brief welcome followed by the featured speaker. The business session will follow a 20 minute coffee and donut "eye-ball" session.

NOTE LINEUP CHANGES Due to scheduling conflicts, the ULR talk has been postponed indefinitely.

October 6 The Heard Island Dxpedition. Greg Hollinger VE3NXB, will speak on his experience working Heard Is. and show a professionaly produced video on the actual DXpedition.

November 3 Have you earned the WATTS award? Gord Hayward VE3EOS will give a humorous talk on the Worked All Telephones Televisions and Stereos award and how NOT to earn it.

December 1 The National Traffic System LIVE!. Merrick Jarret VE3BCZ will demonstrate traffic handling on three nets. Watch the master of traffic handling as Merrick checks into three nets commencing at 7PM NOTE: Special meeting start time of 7pm.

January 5 Rick Hergot with Industry Canada will attend to discuss the new Rules and Regulations effecting Amateur Radio

February 2 The K-W Record will be demonstrating and talking about those new digital still cameras we all heard about. Come get your picture taken and see the new technology.....

March 2 Show and Tell Project Night. Show members your homebrew project. Plus a plumbers delight antenna project for anyone on two metres. A Project Contest will be launched at the September meeting.

April 6 Exploring those Hidden HF Signals. How to decode weather fax, listen to transatlantic civilian and military aircraft. Program Chairman Ben Sasiela VA3BNY will provide you frequencies and secrets for hours of interesting listening.

May 4 All about those Mini Satellite Dishes. Are they legal? What can I view? How much are they? All of these questions and more answered at the May meeting.

June 1 KWARC's Annual Meeting

Be sure to attend this final meeting of the year to elect next years slate of officers. Your nominating committee will supply a suggested slate of officers. Of course we can always hope for an election if there are additional nominees for your 98-99 fiscal year.
