C A N W A R N TRAINING & REFRESHER COURSE C A N W A R N In a recent e-mail from Randy Mawson of Environment Canada Randy wrote; "KW is the heart of severe weather country...your club's activities can play a large part in adequate watch/warning lead time and dissemination." With the effects of El Nino creating major changes to all parts of North America, it is imperative that KWARC take an active roll in assisting Randy, Environment Canada, and the residents of Waterloo Region. Therefore the next CANWARN Training & Refresher Course will be held at 7:30pm on April 20th at St Andrew's Church at the corner of Weber & Queen St in Kitchener. You will learn how to recognize severe weather and how to view the CANWARN web page to look at weather.
