March 1998 The Editors Corner - Kilowatter Newsletter

BACK TO MAIN MENU

Attention Budding News Editors

For those of you familiar with my problem with Arthritis I have made the decision to have my left knee replaced.

The problem goes back to a fall on some ice in 1982 which resulted in a torn muscle. The surgeon at the time more or less guaranteed arthritis at some time in the future but did not know when or how bad. I now know the answer to both of those and believe me, it is not nice.

The surgery is scheduled for March 12th and it is very doubtful I will be back at the keyboard in time to complete and generate an April Kilowatter. I hate to plead, however after taking on the job as your President my requests for someone to take over the Kilowatter newsletter project have so far gone unanswered. I know we have numerous members who are very capable of putting out an excellent newsletter so possibly a committee could get together and gather some news for April. With template and mastheads for the various articles already prepared, it is just a matter of filling in the blanks.

Can you help your club??

If anyone has a question or is interested as long as there is some additional help, give me a call and I will get the interested parties together.

C U @ the meeting Monday
