The 1998 Fleamarket Financial Report
Well here it is fall already and the clubs are gearing up for another season and a financial report from me. Well here it is. It's a little less than I originally thought but great never the less, we came out on top.

Both clubs came ahead much better than usual but this was to be expected after implementing a few things to help cut our costs. Some of those including moving to a new place, less postage and moving the Hammond goods ourselves instead of renting a truck. Every thing came out on a positive note. Cost cutting is the key to improving our profits.

The Fergus Community Center proved to be a good move. It was well receive by every one, the visiting hams being the important ones as well as the venders. There seems to be a lot of good reports, it looks like next year will be a banner one for us. Let's all be up for the task ahead of us.

I wish to thank all the volunteers who pitched in to help, a special thanks Paul Cassel VE3SY for all his computer work on the web site, another thanks to Ted Eaton VE3EWE for taking over the outdoor Fleamarket and all the people that helped move the goods from the Hammond warehouse to Fergus and a extra special thanks to all the folks that helped set up the tables the night before the Fleamarket.

A little note here to say we earned $ 4 1 0. 00 in the outside venders area just imagine how well this department will do year, this is found money it doesn't cost us a cent to operate. Also since the clubs made more money I decided to keep a little extra for next years float. Instead of the $550.00 per club I held back $650 for a total of $1,300.00 dollars. The funds are ours and will help in the operation of the Fleamarket in the future.

Thanks again see you next year PS some of us are working on it already.
