Fred continues his recovery and is very pleased to receive the many e-mails from all of his friends. As they are read Fred recalls previous QSO's or eye-ball meetings with you. UPDATE #3 ON DAD

Well, it isn't what Dad wants as "Home", but we are pleased that Dad has now moved to the St.Joseph's Home for the next level of recovery.

For those wishing to visit Fred proceed along the drive on the North side of the main building to the two story section at the rear of the property. Enter through the door at the North end (right). There is metered parking in front of the building at $1.00/hour.

When visiting Fred be ready for one of those famous HC hand shakes... they are still as strong as ever. Since Ham Radio has been much of Fred's life, visits from fellow Radio Amateurs will be an important part of his recovery.

BACKGROUND
As most people are aware, our dear friend Fred Hammond VE3HC, suffered a severe stroke on Sunday June 21st, 1998 at his home in Guelph.

He was immediately transferred to the ICU at Hamilton General where he was attended to by a top neuro surgeon.

Son's Rob and Bill wish to thank Fred's friends for respecting their earlier request for no visitors.
