MEETING DATES
KWARC holds regular meetings September to June on the first Monday of each month. On those months where the first Monday is a Statutory Holiday, meeting are convened on the following Monday.

MEETING LOCATION
Meetings commence at 7:30PM in the 404 WING Club at the end of Dutton Drive in Waterloo. Dutton is North off Weber between Albert Street and the Railway overpass. Click here for map

The 404 Wing building provides ground level access for mobility challenged individuals. This year our agenda will commence with a brief welcome followed by the featured speaker. The business session will follow a 20 minute coffee and donut "eye-ball" session.

September 14 Wintering in the Bahamas. Dave Johnson VA3MRJ, will speak on his experience using ham radio and email from aboard his sail boat. Video presentation also included.

October 5 Ham Radio Through the Eyes of Gary Hammond. Gary VE3XN, will provide a pictorial through the lens of his camera at Ham Radio around the world.

November 2 Gary Kornstien VE3JGK will discuss and demonstrate Ultrasound Medical Imaging

December 7 TOWER TALK our speaker from TRYLON Towers will discuss the various types of towers available along with the pros and cons of each. Insurance will also be discussed. TREAT EXCHANGE TOO

January 4 PACKET DEMO NIGHT Getting started in Packet, TNC's, radio's and protocols

February 1 SWAP NIGHT Bring out those PC's and radios for a buy-sell-trade evening

March 1 SHOW AND TELL Back by popular demand. See Ben to reserve a slot for your idea.

April 5 SPY RADIOS from the Second World War. Check out these clandestine units

May 3 HOME ALARM SYSTEMS What to look for when you operate HF equipment

June 7 KWARC's Annual Meeting  Guest Speaker is TBA but be sure to attend this final meeting of the year to elect next years slate of officers. Your nominating committee will supply a suggested slate of officers. Of course we can always hope for an election if there are additional nominees for your 1999-2000 fiscal year.
