Bob Rushby VE3GLA

The May meeting will feature Bob Rushby VE3GLA of Cambridge. Bob has previously developed digital software sold by MFJ for Packet and other modes. He is now working on an HF rig control package to allow you to control your HF rig from your computer screen.

Unlimited VFOs and Memories are just a few goodies offered by this new package. get a sneak preview of the software being used on a few live radios.

Bob, has been a ham since 1966. He is active primarily on the HF bands, mostly on the digital modes (RTTY, Pactor, PSK31, Hellschreiber) but has been known to pick up a microphone occasionally. Currently, his favourite ham radio activity is homebrewing software. Bob is the author of MultiCom for Windows, a TNC control programme marketed by MFJ and he is currently developing MultiRig, a rig control programme for MFJ.

Bob is the Vice President of Strategic Planning at Delphax, a Mississauga-based manufacturer of high speed computer printers. "
