The Meeting
Spy Radios from WWII and the Vietnam War
Bob was scheduled to join us this past April however due to a family emergency was unable to do so

Our Guest speaker for the September meeting will be Bob Morden of London VE3EIM.   Bob was licensed as a amateur operator since 1956, and worked as a commercial operator in the early 60's.   He has been Chief Radio Officer with the Union Steamship Company of new Zealand, has traveled over 300,000 sea miles and over 50,000 air miles while with the company. He has held New Zealand ham calls of ZL1AX, ZL2QA, and ZL2FF/MM when at sea.

Bob has been interested in "spy stuff" since he was a teenager. His talk at our Monday (13th) meeting on the Spy world will take us through WW1, WW2, Vietnam and the India Pakistan War, with particular emphasis on the role played by Radio and the electronic side of things.

Bob will be demonstration a World War II spy set, and spy sets used in the Vietnam war, plus a unit of the type used by the C.I.A. (Central Intelligence Agency).

This talk is guaranteed to be interesting, informative, and a real eye opener. Be sure to attend and be part of this fabulous presentation.

Tnx de Ben VA3BNY
