Meeting
Bill had become hooked! Eventually Bill joined CFPL-TV in its very early years, and his career was under way. A few years later when the fledging CTV Network began, Bill moved to Toronto to obtain a commercial license to work on high power transmitters. In turn, that led to him becoming the Chief Engineer to CHYM Radio when it took over from CKWR here in Kitchener. Bill has had a long and successful career in broadcasting and related fields and is very busy now operating his own consulting company. In a recent project, he was part of a team that rebuilt the NBC television in Singapore. Bill will be doing a presentation on "The History of Microphones." During his career, Bill has acquired many styles and types of microphones, all having some significance in his life. Together with a visual and audio presentation, and a few memorable pieces which Bill plans to bring, we will be treated to a historical evening on microphones that guaranteed, you will not want to miss this Meeting.
