The 5wpm Licence

The 5wpm CW qualification allows voice and morse code access to 160, 80 and 10 Metre Ham radio bands (80m=3.5 MHz, 160m=1.7 MHz and 10m=28 MHz). With access to these frequencies it is possible to communicate around the world with either voice or morse code.

The Kitchener-Waterloo Amateur Radio Club offers a number of options for those desiring to learn code. So, regardless of your current CW capability, KWARC has a no-cost option available for you.
