KWARC Executive Meeting At the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, Kitchener. June 6, 2000 In attendance: VA3MRJ, Bob VA3MCK, Paul VE3SY, Dave VA3DGS, Larry VE3LGN, and John VE3VRA. Agenda Dismantling KSR Packet report - Zehr tapes Donation to RAC Meeting close Dave VA3MRJ called the meeting to order at 7:30pm. The meeting began with a general discussion on the dismantling of the VE3KSR repeater station on Baden Hill. Dave VA3DGS reported that one invoice had so far been received from Oberle Towers. It was thought the tower owners would take on the responsibility of re-installing the Club's antennas. Regarding the Packet Group, Larry VA3LGN said there was nothing of importance to report. Larry said that the Zehrs receipts had come in very useful, supplying the Packet Group with a modest source of funds. Paul VE3SY suggested that the revenue from the receipt tapes might be increased if more people contributed. It was suggested an appeal be launched by way of the KWARC web-site. KWARCs contributions to other institutions was discussed. Currently the club contributes only to the CNIB on a regular basis. It was decided to contribute to RAC. Dave VA3MRJ proposed that: The club donate a sum of $200 to the RAC, "Defense of Amateur Radio Fund". The motion was seconded by Paul VE3SY. All voted in favour. Club president, Dave VA3MRJ called the meeting to a close at 8:00pm. Larry, VE3LGN seconded the motion. errors or ommissions to secretary@kwarc.org
