line-up.jpg (12540 bytes)In preparation for moving to a new location, the Hammond Museum of Radio recently held a sale of numerous Bits-and-Pieces from the Museum as well as a large collection of parts.  Builders lined up early to for an opportunity to pick up parts for amplifiers and tuners as well as restoration buffs looking for bill-hammond.jpg (6001 bytes)odd bits and pieces

Sharp at 1 PM under warm sunny skies Bill Hammond (Fred's Son) opened the garage doors and the sale was underway .    All items were priced with members of the Guelph ARC acting as referees and cashiers.

The sale was very orderly and the parking was handled efficiently with able bodied souls being directed to the rear entrance and the seniors provided convenient front lawn parking.

All proceeds from the sale went to the Hammond Museum of Radio Foundation where it will be used to better the new museum which will be officially opening on October 2nd.
