Sharp at 1 PM under warm sunny skies Bill Hammond (Fred's Son) opened the garage doors and the sale was underway . All items were priced with members of the Guelph ARC acting as referees and cashiers. The sale was very
orderly and the parking was handled efficiently with able bodied souls being directed to
the rear entrance and the seniors provided convenient front lawn parking. All proceeds from the sale went to the Hammond Museum of Radio Foundation where it will be used to better the new museum which will be officially opening on October 2nd. |
